Corner Bakery

I have started getting into freebies again lately and have been signing up for anything I might use. I received this one in the mail about a week or so ago and decided to try it out.

Mr Hockey77 and I were out running errands and decided to try Corner Bakery for lunch. Neither of us had ever been there before but we love sandwiches so were really looking forward to it. I ordered the club panini with the chicken noodle soup.

The sandwich was pretty good, but it could have used lettuce. Also the soup tasted as if it was out of a can. I’m certainly glad we had a coupon to eat here, because it wasn’t very filling and I would rather get a sandwich from Subway.

Kitty

On Saturday Mr. Hockey 77 and I went to the Denver Dumb Friends League with his parents to help them find a new cat. There are so many cute kittens and cats there and I wanted to take them all home with me. We visited with 2 cats and 1 kitten. We were going to look at one more, but he was adopted while we were visiting with our first cat. We all decided the first cat was the one for them, Linkspoint. Can’t remember her name exactly, but it’s something like that. They are going to come up with a new name, something that is easier to remember.

   

If anyone wants a dog or a cat, please go to the Denver Dumb Friends League to adopt one. There are plenty of animals in need.

 

Mr. Hockey 77

Mr. Hockey 77 had a game last night at the Ice Ranch. The team he was playing were 0-4 but they still went in knowing they needed to play well to stay undefeated. As the teams were coming out onto the ice for warmups, I thought the other team was just late getting out of the locker room, but that wasn’t the case at all.

No one on the bench at all. They had five guys plus the goalie and those five guys played the entire game. I have to give them credit for only having breaks in between periods!

And the final score…

I know it’s a little hard to see but the final score ended up being 9-1! Go Taz!!!!!

This was the fastest game outside of tournament games. After a normal first period they decided to let the clock run for the remainder of the game. But it was still fun and we got the win! The Taz Devils are still undefeated and will hopefully remain that way throughout the season!

 

SNOW!!!!

Alright so I’m a little late with this post since I should have posted about it last Saturday but it SNOWED!!! The first snow of the season! I absolutely love snow and missed it this past year since it snowed about 2-3 times and it snowed enough to just cover the ground.

Of course this was all gone by that afternoon but at least we got a picture and we got to enjoy it for the morning!

 

Sit Or Squat

I just found this really random app on my phone. SitOrSquat, which tells you where public restrooms are and how clean or dirty they are. Pictures included. This cracked me up when I first saw it. How perfect is this for me, the one who absolutely hates public restrooms because they are always dirty.

 

Hello world!

Alright so I thought I would give the blogging world a try. I previously did and that was very short-lived. I think two posts at the most. So here I am for try number two.

So it has officially been fall for almost two weeks already. I can’t believe it. It seems like it was just Christmas. I love fall! Actually I love all of the different seasons and always have a hard time picking my favorite. That is one of the best things about living in Colorado. You get to enjoy all of the seasons!

But I love when the trees change colors and they look so pretty. I need to go up in the mountains and get some shots of all the changing colors. Maybe this weekend sometime.
